So far I've bought 2 sets of these, because they are slim like the wire hangers, but the velvet acts to make them like the thick plastic ones, keeping clothes from becoming misshapen or creased. Best of both worlds in the features department, yet looks better than either and kinda gives the closet an instant upgrade. Very good quality for the price.
Update (05/29/2019): So, I've been using these for a year and a half now. They are all still in great shape, look and work like they did when I bought them. My 17 year old daughter has too many dang clothes hehe, so I'm ordering another set today, and thought I'd let everyone know that these are still working like a charm.
