I want to start being completely transparent, I am returning this tool. I purchased this tool for the size and “travel” aspect only. I thought this would be a perfect tool to pack to prevent extra weight in my luggage when I travel. I typically travel with a travel size blow dryer and my curling iron that I use on a daily basis. On rare occasions I will travel with a mini flat iron. My idea was that this tool would allow me to take both the curling iron and a straightener while saving weight/space in my suitcase. However, while this is a 2-in-1 tool, the weight is about the same as my curling iron I use daily. Obviously it does save on space became the barrel and whole tool itself is shorter. I test curled portions of my hair with this, and found it difficult to curl my shoulder length hair with the short barrel. The curls didn’t last either. Now I will say, I am accustomed to salon quality tools that I use on a daily basis. I know this tool is not the same quality so it isn’t fair to expect the same results. Ultimately I decided the more compact size of this iron didn’t outweigh packing my normally size curling iron. I feel like if I were to use this tool and try to wear my hair out of the house my hair would be left a frizzy mess. I’m returning it. I’ll just pack my normal iron. It did t save me weight anyways, and honestly how much room does my curling iron actually take?
