When we opened our package their was a strong chemical odor coming from hair dryer which was overpowering. The smell gave me an instant headache. The positive side is that the dryer was attractive, in operating condition and light weight. I tried to be solve the problem by leaving the hair dryer in the garage overnight thinking the odor would dissipate but It did not. I then left the dryer outside in a shaded area the entire next day and evening. The next morning the strong odor was still present. My family and I were concerned about this continuing noxious odor and returned the product.
