I really do hate de stemming herbs. Especially thyme. good lord, couldn't nature have made the leaves on a thyme sprig a little bigger?
Last year, I was on a trek, looking for simple kitchen tools to make life easier. I've tried every garlic peeler on the market with no success, for instance. Citrus juicers? Yeah, I still find it easier to do it by hand. Most of these gadgets are complete rip offs that tackle the project slightly less efficiently than before, but now you have a complex machine to clean.
These little bad boys are actually quite cool, and oh-so-simple. The different sized holes make them usable for just about every kind of plant you would ever want to de-stem.
Even thyme.
When you're done, just throw it in the silverware tray in the dishwasher. Oh, crap. I forgot I have to de-stem some cilantro, too. No worries. That's why there are three of them!
If this hadn't come in a three-pack, I'd be buying two more.
