I have mixed feelings about this particular hot pot grill. Pros - It heats up/boils quickly, it stays hot, fits on the table nicely, and it’s very roomy so several of us can cook our food at the same time. Cons - The design on the lid is flawed and cheap, takes too much energy so sometimes it blows a fuse, first one I received was scratched and missing a padded foot so pot was lopsided, and the price in the same hot pot just continues to go UP and UP. First complaint, the lid doesn’t come together all that nicely. It’s actually a pretty messy design. When I tried to take it apart to see why it was so loose, I couldn’t. The screw is now forever stuck inside the handle so it won’t come apart at all. This was my second pot after requesting an exchange, so I figured I’d just deal with it. Which was dumb...because now I’m just unhappy with the sloppy lid. Customer service is decent. They respond to your emails, but they don’t reach out to you first. What I mean is that I originally purchased from their website at the end of April. I received an email the next day saying that shipping was going to be delayed due to stock issues and that they would be available first week of May. No big deal. They would send shipping confirmation as soon as it was sent out. Well, the first week of May comes and goes. May 25th...still no shipping confirmation, so I emailed them. They responded quickly and said it was already shipped. Okay...so where’s my shipping confirmation? Come to find out...nothing had shipped. Then I get an email saying the pot wouldn’t ship until end of June. What?! After contacting them AGAIN, they then sent me an email on June 2nd saying they were able to get their hands on some stock and were going to ship out to me right away. Although their responses are quick when you reach out with concerns, their customer service and emails are all over the place. To conclude, I would buy this pot again. Just got one for my friend for Christmas. I looked through it, and they’ve started including and extra padded food and an extra plug. Although this product does have some flaws (especially in the lid design and customer service), the return policy is good.
