Well made, cute compact bag...

I love the leather of this bag. It has a rich color and is supple. It also has that true leather smell. The stitching is solid and very fine, even where the strap is pieced together is totally seamless, so no catching or rubbing. The hardware is a very nice brass, no fake finishes, and is sized perfectly for the scale of this bag. The lining is a cute dog pattern and is sewn in very well; no bunching or sagging.

I love it's compactness also. The length and width are great, I only wish it were a bit deeper (maybe 3 inches instead of 2). I also wish the pockets had gussets. The outside zip pocket is up against the inside slip pocket so only usable for receipts or very slim objects. It really will hold just the bare essentials.

It arrives packaged with great care; very personalized like buying from a boutique.

For me it was too big, too heavy for a crossbody

The bag was well made and the quality was good, but it felt too big to be a crossbody. I'm sure it works fine, but for me it was too big. Nothing wrong with the workmanship or leather quality.

Absolutely love the style and color of this bag. It was exactly what I was looking for. The design and craftsmanship are beautiful and a great size. The interior is VERY well made with multiple pocket options and well-stitched. The strap gives plenty of options for length, and I am tall, so that helps! A few "cons" however: 1.) The strap is so thin (both in width and thickness), that just the slight amount of weight in the bag (phone, wallet & keys only) made it uncomfortable across my shoulder in a very short amount of time (weight not distributed across a wider strap). Also, the strap leather is not very thick, and appears that it will break in a short amount of time, rather than lasting a long time (as an all-leather bag should). 2.) There is a bit of a sheen to the leather, making it appear more like fake leather or PU. It's not terrible, but when compared to a 2nd leather bag I ordered, the difference is significant enough (and the leather is almost half the thickness of the other bag I ordered, for about the same price). 3.) The edges of the bag are raw cut, rather than finished. While I thought I would love the casual look of that detail, in person you can tell it will not wear as well, since the overall thickness of the leather is thinner also (if you zoom in on the pic, you can already see some "fuzziness" to the leather edge on the flap edge and bottom of bag, right out of the Amazon delivery box).
So between the leather quality, strap thickness, and the sheen, these things cheapened the look of the bag in person. I loved the simplicity of the design & the lighter shade of the leather, and WANTED it to be the one that worked for me SOOO badly... but unfortunately it just missed the mark in these areas. I'm thinking about taking it to a leather worker to put a thicker strap on, but hate to have to pay for that on a brand new item. Sigh.

The workmanship of this bag and the quality of the leather is really fantastic! I can't say enough about how much I love my bag. I live in Montana and we are in the snowy season. I did apply two coats of leather waterproofing that I use on my Frye boots. I saw some reviews about water spotting this bag. You have to condition it folks! THis is beautiful natural leather that does require some care. I am a seamstress and I can tell you that the attention to detail and the precise stitching is really, really great! I would have expected to pay so much more for this beauty!

I just received my bag today and I am very happy with the quality and the looks of it. Gorgeous tan color. It fits my iPad Air and all my other small items I like to carry with me on weekends.

I love this purse. Just as advertised it is a thick saddle leather. It is comfortable, the strap is adjustable and secure. My favorite features are how it stands on its own, the convient pockets, and the lining! I love when I lift the flap I see everything in my purse and I can access it easily. An excellent product for the price.
I use saddle soap on it to bring out the luster of the leather, and it helps keep it protected from the elements here in Michigan. :)

I received my Crossover bag a couple of days ago and I want to share how happy I am with it! The leather is beautiful and the overall use and comfort of the bag is just what I was looking for. But what has impressed me the most is the all around quality and the perfection of the stitching - truly professional! Even the little dog that is attached is perfect. I wanted a crossbody bag enough for my planner but not BIG like the bags I weight down with everything but the kitchen sink. We got ny daughter a raw leather crossbody years ago at a flea market in London. The leather was stiff at first and had to be worn in almost like a baseball glove or leather jacket; then it became buttery soft and uniquely hers. This bag reminds me of that one- the size is great, the leather is high quality and as practical as it is I also just love wearing it as an accessory. What a gem!
