The BAD: The glass quality!! This set would’ve been great if not for the poor quality of the glass. Every single jar had multiple bubbles, seams and other imperfections. I even ordered a 2nd set and it was the same. I thought maybe my expectations were too high, but when I looked at my random glass jars from store bought spices, none of them were as poor quality glass as this set. I did receive one broken jar and one jar contained some unidentifiable fuzz.
The GOOD: The variety of the labels and the labels themselves are awesome! The lids were satisfactory. They aren’t as heavy and durable as some others I had, but I doubt they’ll dent with normal use. The plastic lids snap on and stay on. The little pour flap on the plastic lids doesn’t stay open very well, so I usually just take it off so I can scoop, rather than pour.
Overall, I’d rate them a “meh” and order a different set if I had it to do over. I’m a bit disappointed, but hey, they’re just spice jars, right? And my spice drawer still looks fantastic!
