I love this product, but I do not like the Gain scent at all, I like the original scent better.
I use this spray (original scent) to freshen up blouses that I get dry cleaned, so I can wear them 2 or 3 times through a matter of a few weeks between dry cleaning, and it refreshes them beautifully.
A few weeks ago, all of the stores I go to were out of the spray and I only had one bottle left, so I purchased this not realizing it had the Gain scent. My mistake.
This scent is way too strong to use on delicate clothing, even after shaking the garment out after applying it, you can still smell the strong Gain scent, which to me is not appealing at all. I guess it would be fine if it were loungewear, but not for clothing that I wear to work.
The original scent is much lighter, leaving the garment fresh without a lingering scent on it.
So I am using the Gain scent spray as I would regular household Febreze. I spritz it on fabric furniture and bedding and the scent isn’t overwhelming in that particular application. Not an total loss.
I HIGLY recommending getting this product in original scent, it’s awesome for refreshing clothing that doesn’t need to be cleaned or washed immediately. If it’s worn once or twice but still clean use this spray if you want to keep it fresh. I now always have at least 4 bottles of it so I don’t run out again.
