powers like a champ!

I used this EVGA Supernova 850 Ga, 80 Plus Gold 850W, to power my new Ryzen 9 3900x, Gforce 2080 super, ROG STRIX x570-E Motherboard, 32gb ram, rgb cpu liquid cooler in a nzxt 510 case and man this machine runs like a champ! its super quite and you can only really hear it when you first start up your computer. Other than that pc runs almost silent.

10 months of use then dead. DONT TRUST WARRANTY.

so ive had this power supply for 10 months before it gave on me. the warranty asks that I pay for shipping for their faulty product that couldn't last a year. they also only give you a refurbished one so if you're like me and have a like-new power supply your getting possibly even worse quality than me. so they screw you with the 15 plus dollars for shipping than the screw you with a half-assed product. I seriously can not recommend this brand after this experience.

High quality power from a top maker, but a plug design flaw?

Outstanding PSU from a maker known for quality. Easy install. Modular (plug on the cables you need, not a pigtail of cables coming out of the back). Only issue I had was the 24 pin Motherboard cable's 8 pin end that goes into the PSU was two 4 pin plugs with there own wide snap latch, clearly incompatible with the CPU plug on the back of the PSU (see pic). I had to twist off the latches, th,en it fit perfectly. This end should be a single 8 pin with one narrow latch. Kinda odd from such a good maker.

Works with a 3080ti

So far so good working with a 30 series card, 3080 ti with a ryzen7 2700x with lots of Rgb pwm fans and plenty of usb's drawing power. i will update if anything changes but as of now this PSU is a great deal for under $100 with a 10 year warranty. i would still say if you are running a new setup with a 6900xt/3080 or higher you still might want to go for 1000w to have plenty of power for any other upgrades. if you are a little short on cash (like me) the 850w is still plenty for basic high end gamming pc's. keep in mind that i am not playing any 8k games so can not state anything with that. Hope this helps anyone that was (like me) freaking out about it not working with 3080's.

I am not too sure on the noise level as my tower is on ground level. Also, combining my other four fans really make it hard to tell when my tower go at a quiet and stagnant level of noise.

By the way, there are at least three or four separate VGA/GPU connectors with three line connectors each, so no worries if you are upgrading into RTX 30 series or RX 60 series. The rest is just choose what you use and not use, and plug and play.

I'm not sure if this is normal, but the motherboard cable is very thick, stiff, and really hard to cable manage. Not very long either. Otherwise good product. Also my lights flicker when I turn my PC on but I have a beast so maybe that's okay :)
