Have to take another star off Amazon wont let me post an honest review. Great card, Poor manufacturer choices. A month or two before this purchase i recently upgraded from and FX-8350, 16gb 1600mhz ram to ryzen 52600x and 16gb 3000mhz. Very very nice upgrade, so nice it kept my GTX 970 at %100 load when gaming, whichh quicky lead to the old cards death.. quickly picked this up in a pinch because i didn't want to fork out the extra $150 for the 5700xt. 1660 super is fine, plays red dead redemption 2 at 1080p on the ultra preset. However.. lots of people have complained in the last that at this price point GPUs "need" a backplate. Somewhat true as long as the backplate serves a purpose and this one does NOT. Its plastic so its not very sturdy, and plastic does not dissipate heat like metal. So one star knocked for a useless backplate that wont keep my card from sagging over time. And another star knocked off for MSI to consciously do this just to stop complaints instead of sticking up for themselves. But it seems like this year every manufacturer are building components as cheap as possible, EVGA, Gigabyte, Asus "Tuf" lol. All disappointing this year. if you're looking to upgrade your graphics card please wait till the next generation RTX or the next Radeon card. It's a terrible time to die within video releasing 12 or 13 cards in a year(3 versions of 1660 lol..) and AMD releasing unstable and insanely high running temp cards.
