I purchased a protection plan from Asurion for my refurbished laptop a while back. When the touchpad stopped working, they provided excellent service, repairing and returning it in short order. The new plan I bought is for a new dehumidifier, so as the headline above says, "Kitchen Protection Plan" is an odd name. One thing though: it's not actually a 4 year plan, insofar as the 4 years are FROM DATE OF PURCHASE, so this overlaps the manufacturer's warranty. I'm not accusing Asurion of deception, that may be stated somewhere, but if so I missed it. Thus 4 stars instead of 5.
