Very nice way to finish a bottle

For the past 20+ years I've always waxed my bottles. Finally got tired of dealing with the mess and wanted to try these. Absolutely wonderful. I do miss using my custom wax seal on the bottle tops but this is so much easier and practical. I used the hot water method and that worked far better than a heat gun/blow dryer. I'd recommend these and will buy them again. I also liked that there are multiple colors. Black Cherry Pinot got the black tops, Oak Aged Pinot got the gold tops, and Vikings Blood mead got the red tops. Haven't made anything for the silver tops yet but I'm thinking a prickly pear cactus wine is next.

These are very cheep and do not have a pull tab to open so opening is always a wrestling match. Also the top is loose and loos crappy. I ordered PVC heat shrink capsules with tear tab and they are much more professional.

I used the hot water method. I placed the bottle in a large bowl and then used a ladle to pour hot water over the cap. They immediately shrank down tight and they looked good after it was done.

Fit perfectly on standard bottles

These will not work on the larger bottles but we mostly bottle our wines in standard 750ml bottles. They shrink evenly if you rotate continuously. Helps give a more polished look to our bottled wine

I wish I had not been in such a rush to buy these . I did not read the description thoroughly. They do not have the pull tabs. I found these to shrink up a little more in length than other makes but seemed lose at the cap end. The matt black and the burgundy are the worst and the gold top circle actually lifts off after applying. For the money , they are probably just ok. We shall see how they last. I will not buy again.
