4.0 out of 5 starsIs great when not being used with a receiver

I am a fan of the Live Gamer Bolt, previously was using the Live Gamer Ultra but was unhappy with the washed out image when I was using HDR. Can say that when you are feeding the signal directly from the console into the Live Gamer Bolt and passing through to the TV it works as advertised.
However, be warned if you are using anything like an HDMI switch, HDMI matrix, or a receiver with this thing and want HDR in 4:4:4, it won't do it.
I currently run 4 consoles through a 4x2 HDMI matrix and have one output going to my TV and the other output to this. It works great when I have the HDMI matrix in 1080p mode, 4k30hz, 4k60hz 4:2:0, but it refuses to recognize the signal when I have my matrix in 4k60hz 4:4:4 mode. Oddly enough I do not have this issue when I used the Live Gamer Ultra or when I used the ElGato 4K60 Pro mk.2
Maybe this is something that they can patch with a firmware update on their end and correct, but for the time being I am unable to play in HDR and use this to capture it, I have to knock everything down to at least 4:2:0 chroma subsampling which a PlayStation 5 does not recognize as HDR. It's a bummer, was really hoping to get this better integrated in my setup but for right now, it's a hassle to keep plugging and unplugging cables when their other products and competitors can do it just fine.
