Good masks

These seem to be the pretty standard disposable masks. I have a few cloth masks but I like to have a box of disposable masks on hand. I like the elasticity of the strings and the pliable metal to form around the nose. Before COVID I didn't use masks to wear doing yard work and now I do and it has been a huge help with my allergies. I would recommend a mask to everyone that suffers from allergies while doing yard work. It is also very nice to have a mask on while cleaning off outside surfaces with a blower. I also visit construction sites for work and I never wore a mask until COVID. Now they are required and I wish I would have always worn them. It will be awesome to have several of these disposables in my truck. I would have liked if the inspection sticker was not covering the printed information on the box. It could have gone on the bottom since for me it doesn't serve that much value but I can see why it would be needed as a quality assurance measure for manufacturing.

These Were Great, Not So Great Now

Purchased my first order of these masks in July and was very pleased with material feel, size and the resealable pouch they came in. Placed my second order in October and received a very different mask. Not only is the color and size different (see picture July type is bottom with new type on top), but the mask construction and material feel is very different from first order. The masks shipped no longer match the picture on the Amazon website and they no longer have that great resealable pouch. Being returned immediately.

Extremely Comfortable

Since I've been called back to work 1.5 months ago, I've had to wear a mask for at least 11 hours of the day, 5 days a week. Due to the mask shortage, I've purchased 6 brands of disposable masks in the past 2 months just as a precaution. All of these brands are made from companies that basically have no other products but masks.

Out of the 6 brands I've purchased, this one from Unifandy is the best BUT it's also the most expensive. The other brands I purchased were from local Chinese supermarkets or street vendors ranging from $10 - $16. Not everyone in the US has access to this type of selection so there's definitely a place for Unifandy's product.

Unifandy pros:
- Nose piece holds its shape and creates a good seal. This is the most important factor for me as I wear glasses. If the nose piece doesn't seal tightly, my glasses fog up to the point of being unable to see.
- Material is very soft. The mask part is thicker than other brands but also softer.
- Ear loops have just enough tension to stay on your face and doesn't dig into your ears. Major positive for me to due to wearing glasses.

Cons
- Price

Is the Unifandy mask worth almost double or more in price? I'm not sure to be honest, but I will definitely be grabbing this product as a first choice until I run out. I'm lucky that I have lower priced options to choose from.

If you don't have the luxury of getting lower priced options or you find low priced brands completely unbearable, I would fully recommend this product.

This mask is much better than the others I have tried -- and I have tried many others. It is comfortable, the fit is perfect, and it does not fog glasses like others do. It is made of cotton cloth and that is good news because that means you can wash it. Any of the masks that are based on cotton have a distinctive cotton odor when they are new. I have picked cotton and all these masks smell like cotton when new. In order to neutralize the cotton odor you can place the mask in the wash. Now of course you do not want to set your wash cycle to an aggressive setting -- set your machine to something mild especially for the agitation. When you place this mask on your face be sure to pinch the nose area in order to prevent infiltration but also that prevents fogging your glasses. This is the best of the common masks. It is not N95 but those are very uncomfortable.

OK but cheaper elsewhere

The brand I received was Suncoo. They're OK, but some of the earloops are huge. I tried twisting them into a figure-8, but that makes a gap on the sides (and the more times you have to twist them, the bigger the gap gets). Tying a knot close to the end of the earloop worked better, as did hooking the earloops onto an ear saver.

I cut a mask open, and the center (filtering) layer was puffy, kind of like a facial tissue or soft toilet paper. They're lightweight, about as thin as you'd expect, and generally comfortable when the earloops fit. I do have a hard time keeping my glasses from fogging with them.

After I received them, I took a closer look at the pictures in reviews and noticed the masks varied in appearance. I assume that means the brand can vary from order to order.

Due to the description "Unifandy face mask," I was surprised to receive Suncoo. I was also irritated because I remembered seeing Suncoo cheaper at other stores. If I'd known I was ordering Suncoo, I would have ordered elsewhere. Prices have dropped a lot since then, but Unifandy still charges $5 more than other stores ($9.99 vs $4.99).

I also saw a comment that said Trianium Direct (not this store) is the only authorized seller of Suncoo. I don't know whether that's true, but I ordered from them and got what appears to be the same mask at a cheaper price.

Comfortable and Secure

The product arrived promptly with all 50 masks in one packaging. It would have helped if the 50 were split up in 2-4 packets to allow them to remain sanitary till needed. The first impression was the low tension of the elastic loops over the ears that added to the comfort of wearing for long periods. The mask is wide enough to cover comfortably from nose to below chin and the added nose band makes it easier to get a better seal. If there is a minor negative it is the initial odor which does dissipate if the masks are left exposed for a few hours before using them. The 3 layers almost feel like just one but you can feel the strength of the filtration if you blow hard through them. The material is very soft and does not chafe during extended wear. The cost seems a bit on the high side but if you consider wearing one all day the pennies in comfort and safety makes the cost seem insignificant. I would recommend these "disposals".

Grab and Go Comfortable Face Coverings

These are general/personal use 3-layer disposable face coverings. They aren’t meant for any seriously dusty environments or for use in medical environments. They are more of a quick grab and go mask for general use. I could see these being stored at home or to have handy at stores and offices for people that may need an extra mask if they forgot theirs.

Some pros:
Comfortable as they are pretty breathable and the ear loops have a good amount of tension without being uncomfortable for long usage.
Price isn’t too bad you can also save 5% by doing the subscribe and save.
Don’t have to wash them like some cloth ones that I have, since they are disposable there isn’t any maintenance required.
The adjustable metal in the masks allows it to have a better fit on your face. May help with fogging glasses for some.

Some negatives:

They are plastic wrapped and sealed although they aren’t individually wrapped which would have made this much better. In addition it does not have a ziplock feature to reseal the bag. These also are said to have a 2 year shelf life. The ones I received were made a year ago so that leaves only 1 year of use. Depending on where this box is being used it could be used up pretty fast since they are disposable so it may be a non-issue for you.

I personally would have preferred black or grey colored masks as they wouldn’t stand out as much. Not sure if that is an option. Would be almost perfect in black and individually wrapped.

I've tried many many many different masks. All have been too big, poof out on the sides so big I could fit a golf ball in the poofed out areas. Of course not even remotely useful. Some the material was scratchy, others loops instantly broke, and others had a plastic nose clip that wouldn't stay bent like I need. I am a small-average size woman with a small-average size face. These fit me the way these types of mask should. The metal nose clip makes a good seal so my glasses don't fog up. I work in an environment where masks are still mandated so I was happy to find these. Simple, lightweight, fit me appropriately and very inexpensive with no foul smell to them like so many others. I will order more.

Great Fit and comfortable Suncoo Mask SM10

Love the Suncoo Mask SM10, they have a long thick metal band for over the nose. Works great for those that wear glasses. Your glasses wont fog up when worn properly. The band helps to keep the Suncoo Mask SM10 in place on your face and will stay there all day if needed. Good fit along the chin and wraps well under the chin too. The sides are a nice fit to does not stick out like most mask do. Best protective mask I have worn and would really recommend this for everyday use to anyone. There is 50 in the box and they are well worth the money to get. I have shared the Suncoo Mask SM10 with others and I get the same reaction from all that wear the Suncoo Mask SM10.

Truly 3-layers means security

These 3-layer masks (worn with the BLUE side away from my face, as I learned!) are lightweight and easy to wear, while providing excellent protection. They are comfortable, have great top to bottom (above nose to below chin) depth. They give me a sense of security. And they are extremely affordable, so I do not have to worry about disposing them and not having to "stretch" their use for more than a couple of times. They are also great to give to visiting workmen or friends who have forgotten their masks, or take a bunch of them in the car for any eventuality. The only slight complaint I had was that for my own rather small face, the mask fit ear-to-face a little too loosely. That was easy to remedy by making a small quick tie in the ear loops (no cut) to keep them a bit closer to my face, which took 10 seconds to accomplish. Otherwise good bargain and well made sturdy masks for any adult or occasion. The masks are free shipping on Amazon and arrived the day after they were ordered!
