Awesome wireless charger for nightstands!

My husband and I both have these on our nightstands. We were sick of cords and wanted something we could easily place and pick up our phones as needed. It is quick charging and looks nice on our nightstands. I’ve always loved the Belkin brand and this is the only way I charge my phone!

Stylish, but not great for bedside use

I bought this for use as an easy bedside charging station. However, charger sometimes makes a high-pitched whirring noise while charging. Also, the charging indicator light is a fairly bright white, which can be distracting when trying to sleep.
Both of these problems can be temporarily resolved by slowly turning and adjusting my phone’s position until 1) I can’t hear the high-pitched whirring and 2) the indicator light is covered by my phone. However, this temporary fix runs the risk of misaligning the charger, causing the indicator light to change yellow (covered by my phone so hard to see), and my phone not charging all night. These might not be a problems if I weren’t using it as a bedside charging station and moved it to another room.

I like that the phone can be charged on the pad with the case on if the case is not too thick or metal. Neither of which is the case for me. Unfortunately though I use a pop socket and cannot charge it with the pop socket attached to the case. I think this would be apply for any wireless charging pad. So although I can charge it without removing my phone from the case, I would have to remove the pop socket, something I am loathe to do. I do not like that the pad does not charge itself. I cannot use the pad as a portable charger as it must be plugged in to charge. This too is probably true at least for now for other wireless charge pads. I did not realize this when I bought this with my new iPhone (just as I did not realize how much of a misnomer “wireless” ear buds was before AirPods). This is a sleek, quality product at a more than reasonable price. Unfortunately I won’t get as much use out of it as I thought because of the (probably universal) limitations above.

Original AirPod Pros do not have MagSafe and need to be placed just right to charge consistently. Otherwise it works fine and gives me more confidence than a no-name brand.

Great wireless charger without the RGB bling. A solid white light indicates charging. A blinking white light indicates that the device needs to be placed properly. The white light turns off completely when no device is charging. Comes as a complete unit with pad, 2.5 feet cord, and wall charger. This charger even charged through my official phone case.

Quality and simplicity for my iPhone X

I have an iPhone X and I initially got this charger because the port to my phone was getting dirty and I would have to hold the cord charger to it at a certain angle for it to charge. But given the choice I would still choose this wireless charger.

The only down side is with traveling you have to make room for a disk instead of just a bundled cord and it doesn’t charge as quickly as a normal iPhone cord.

But the pros are that you can simply set your phone down and instantly have it charge. I have one for my bedroom and one for the living room. All the guests love it and it is always a quick topic of discussion. It is a little picky on how exact the phone is set down on it as it per much has to be centered perfectly to charge but it is easy to get used to. I recognized the Belkin name and this feels and works like a quality charger. Highly recommend it

Belkin is usually a good product. This was not fast charging and only lasted a week before it stopped charging my iphone. Just prior to it dying, it ran hot and caused my phone to overheat. It is not worth the shipping cost from Ecuador to return it. I will not buy another.

Don't listen to the negative reviews! They must be new to the wireless phone charging game.

Exceeded my expectations. I was worried after reading some of the negative reviews about the charger being finicky about the way the phone must be placed on the pad. However, I've placed the phone on the charger a few dozen times since receiving it today and have yet to not have it connect properly and start charging the phone. I have tried it both without a case and with my Apple leather case and it works perfectly either way. There is a rubberized circle around the center of the pad that keeps the phone in place without a case, so I really don't understand what people are doing that is causing it to slip off of the pad as some have claimed. I'm not saying that couldn't happen, only that I would have to try make an effort to reproduce it with mine.

Don't let the negative reviews shy you away from this one. Perhaps it's just those iPhone users new to wireless charging that are having issues or different expectations. I've seen were some people complain that it's not really wireless because it must plug into the wall, so take that into consideration before faulting the Belkin Boost Up. I have experience with wireless chargers from using Android devices in the past so maybe I am having a better experience than some due to not having the learning curve on how to set it on the charger.

I will be purchasing another for the office as soon as I can afford it.

Nice charger, way too difficult to align an iPhone on it

It's a really nice charger, great size, good charging power. But it is way way too difficult to align an iPhone on it to charge. It is nowhere near "just drop it on and let it charge" - you have to keep moving the iPhone around to find the exact spot where it will charge. And then when you do, sometimes you wake up the next morning and it stopped charging overnight because it wasn't perfectly aligned.

Good charger, but I would not buy it again.

I recently purchased the Belkin Quick Charge Dual Wireless Charging Pad and have been using it for a few weeks now. Overall, I would rate this product as a solid 3 stars.
