I don’t recommend this fennel ground due to the smell and taste test fail after opening the package. I tried to test it on a tuna fish stew I was preparing and it killed the taste of the stew which is very savoury normally. This fennel ground made the taste slightly off and the rich aroma normally present absent. As mentioned in front of the package “MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF: TREE NUTS, WHEAT, PEANUT, SOYBEANS.” may have tainted the distinct smell and taste of the fennel ground when it was being grounded in the factory machines. I am going back to FRONTIER CO-OP ORGANIC FENNEL GROUND which has an excellent smell and taste soon as you open the lid of the container.
