If you compare, you will see that the majority of the electric, indoor smokeless grills are virtually the exact same unit. There may be small specification differences the Seller can make in choosing the product from the manufacturer. This is our second product in this category. The differences we see are that the Cusimax feels heavier/ more stable and sits on pads, not just on the countertop. Further, it heats faster than other units. It also comes with a griddle which most others don't. Its temperature setter seems better also. You set the temp, it gets you there and you know where you stand. It's important to comprehend that none of these products are100% smokeless. Some foods just produce so much smoke that 100% is not possible; that's not really a fault or misleader of the product. This unit has done a nice job so far. To get grill marks with this grill it is important to set the temp high enough to do so and to let the product set up on that temperature. In other words, don't turn it on and expect to get grill marks if the unit isn't fully heated up. Other products give you more adds like temperature gauge and recipe book. This product gives you tongs and tells you that if you register and provide a review you will receive other treats. These units are not hard to figure out but the instructions are not particularly well written. Don't worry, you can figure this out easily. It does not clean itself but its simple and easy to do. The product registration process and their website are wonky but the company seems to sort everything out if you email them. We have been delighted with the cooking of the food we have tried so far.
