Overall I am happy with purchase of these 3 oz jars. I bought 3 packs of 18 as the drawer I wanted to use for my spices would be able to hold 45 and wanted a few extras in case of mishaps.
Very impressed by packaging, all divided and held tight by a dicut styrofoam slab. Even still, 1 did arrive broken. Again I was ok with ordering more than I needed in case of this exact scenario. It's glass.
Not a matter of if it breaks but WHEN it breaks.
Dimensions/fit: With lid these measure 2 inch wide/diameter x 2 7/8 inch tall. (I would allow for 2 & 1/16 or 2 & 1/8 space for diameter and 3 or 3 & 1/16 space allowance for height)
I was hoping to have 5 jars across the width of my drawer and still be able to close the drawer.
The dimensions for the jar by itself without the lid (1 7/8 inch wide/diameter x 2 3/4 inch tall) did fit as I expected. However, again see pic attached, the lid is ever so slightly wider and because of this they do not fit in my drawer as intended after all. Not really sure how I got confused or turned around as the 2" width given in description wouldn't have fit to begin with.
Sigh. So close. It is ok as is and will work. Most important thing is that the drawer closes and I can still fit 45 jars. Maybe someday I'll figure out an adjustment to the drawer so they can fit as I had hoped.
Hand wrote with chalkboard marker on the lids. Counter space included in pic because what a mess did this clean up! I should have taken a before pic.
Overall very happy as clearly my mismeasurement was my own doing. Would recommend!
