Just finished watching Fatima. This was a beautiful portrayal of our Catholic faith and how important prayers and sacrifices are to the salvation of souls. Our Lady’s message is simple, “pray the rosary everyday for peace in our world.”
The acting is amazing (younger Lucia especially) and the film overall portrays the divine in such a natural way. Knowing the story of Fatima, you can see how much suffering the seers experienced at such a young age. I especially loved the simplicity of Our Lady gently walking across the earth in her bare feet just before she presents herself to the children. This was so powerful!
The only criticism I would give has nothing to do with the acting, but possibly the streaming quality. The scenes where it is night time or where there is less light can barely be made out. The scenes aren’t bright enough to see what is happening. I don’t know why this is? Overall, I think this is such a quality film that should be viewed by all, especially for our time! Ave Maria!
