Ok so after passing through the battlefield of bots, lost sleep, shed tears and possibly even blood from my blisters by furiously clicking F5 and clicking add to cart, I have reached super saiyan mode.

All joking aside, this card is huge! Design wise it’s absolutely gorgeous. Did I need a 3090 not at all. But it sure does shred any games such as
Horizon Zero Dawn (75FPS 4K Ultra),
SnowRunner (90FPS 4K Ultra),
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (54FPS 4K Ultra),
Call of Duty Cold War (132FPS 4K Ultra)

Gameplay isn’t the only benchmark because some people may use this for 3D modeling softwares, Octane Blender, raytracing and other programs that can fully utilize the increase in cuda and ray tracing cores.

I’ll provide more updates along the way as I use it for various different applications such as Davinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Helpful note: Do not buy from scalpers. I ordered this from Amazon via Telegram alerts. I highly recommend you look into Telegram and joining a 3090 NowInStock alert channel. Once you get an alert and open the product page, press "Buy Now" and go back and keep trying if you have an empty cart. There is a good chance you will eventually see a "Place Order" button if you're patient enough. Sometimes you have to select "See All Buying Options" and filter by new, and Amazon's listing will pop up.

Short Review:
This GPU is obviously really powerful and overclocks well. There's nothing functionally wrong with the one I received. That being said, it has pretty bad coil whine when I first load into games or benchmarks. It calms into a lower hum the longer it's under load, but it's still pretty noticeable. I'm going to deal with it for now and hope it gets better after more use. I will come back and update this review if the coil whine decreases a noticeable amount after a few weeks.
EDIT: I'm returning the card. It's been 3+ weeks and the coil whine is the same. Not something I should have to compromise on with a card of this price.

Last note: I'm pretty sure I received an RMA'd/recertified card even though I bought it "new" from Amazon. The ASUS shipping box it came in had duplicate shipping labels (older labels were covered) and it was poorly sealed. The only thing keeping it closed was one piece of ASUS branded tape that was folded on itself on one side, essentially leaving that side unsecured. The product box DID NOT have a sticker seal on one side of the box, so I was able to open it without having to cut or remove anything. Whoever repackaged this at ASUS was in a big hurry. The GPU was in a sealed anti-static bag and had plastic covers and peels on it, but ASUS can easily reapply those after recertification.

Amazing performance -far exceeds expectations!

-Incredibly fast, fantastic upgrade from a GTX 780 Ti!
-Looks great, the LEDs have multiple programming options
-Runs Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 @ 4K resolution at a minimum of 40fps on "Ultra" settings
-3 x 8pin power connectors, all RTX3090s should have this -remember Ohms Law?

The ASUS ROG-STRIX-RTX3090-O24G-GAMING has the fastest maximum clock speed available today for an air-cooled card (1890 MHz) and runs most games at insane frame rates. My RTX3090 has no coil whine at all and the 3 cooling fans actually come to a complete stop when the card is not being worked hard.

When running Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 where the GPU is pegged at 100% load most of the time (all settings on "Ultra"), the GPU temperature hovers around 70 degC. Asus have done an excellent job with this card, I highly recommend it and would certainly buy one again myself if I was building another gaming PC.

I've wanted to have a 3000 series card for a while but as we all know it was either not possible to get one or the price was so high above MSRP that you'd have to sacrifice a kidney to buy one.
Due to the recent crypto crash, prices have dropped. So I finally took the plunge and let my impulse win for once.
Seeing the reviews on this page made me very nervous while waiting for the card to arrive. From people talking about the card not actually being "new" to people talking about horrendous coil whine, I was ready to be disappointed. The sellers "Nationwide-Distributors" were very tentative to my questions and very quick to suggest contacting them if the card was found to be used. But to my surprise the card is actually new and unused. Due to the price point I don't think anyone expects this card to perform poorly. But its the noise level that is surprisingly quiet and the temperatures haven't reached above 65C when maxing out games like Escape from Tarkov and DOOM Eternal with RTX on.

Very pleased with the card and the sellers.

Awesome GPU if bought from Asus and not a 3rd party

To start with yes, make sure you buy this from Asus and not a 3rd party scalping store.

This card is awesome, im able to max out everything and works like a charm.. a luxury charm. Did a quick benchmark without OC (3rd picture) and you can see that it does reflect a 10% better results than a Rog Strix 3080 and more % againts the other lower tier brands such as Zotac.

Noise is great, it doesnt bother at all and saw some people in Youtube complaining about a Coil Whine, for some reason its not happening in this one doesnt matter if the fan curve is low, high or around 60%.

Temps are great always around 60 at peak, most I have seen is 70ish almost 80 on CyberPunk which then kickstarts the fans at 100% and lowers again to 68ish.

Its design its great, looks awesome, loved the goodies and I will pick this again over an Aorus Xtreme.

Note: Im still pending to seriously OC it, for now I only unlocked the power consumption limit.
Note2: I paired this with a 1300 PSU from EVGA and a sag thingy to keep it perfectly leveled.
