I have gotten so many fun compliments on these boots. I have never owned rainboots before now and am enjoying them as the Iowa weather is giving me lots of chances to wear them! I ordered a size up based on some comments and that was a good call. I have no problem getting my foot in and out easily, although the foot liners does slip out each time I take the boots off (more annoying than a real problem). I am not wearing socks with them as I slip into my regular shoes once I am in my office, but the size would accommodate it if I wanted to do so. Wearing socks would make them warmer as well, which I don't really care about since I am wearing them to mainly save my regular shoes from being soaked. So, I don't know if these are hardy, forest walking, creek stomping boots (they may be!) but they are the perfect fit for this small town living, Midwest weather experiencing gal :)
