5.0 out of 5 starsComfortable, quality, no bloatware - Fantasic mouse!
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 14, 2021
I've been buying gaming mice for several years now. I started with the Logitech MX510, MX518 and each of them lasted me about 10 years. I still have my original MX518 and it still works but a lot has changed since then. Most recently I had a Logitech G903 with the charging mouse pad. Anyway, apparently Logitech products now suck and I only had that mouse for a little over 2 years and the warranty is only 2 years apparently.

I decided I wanted to buy a cheaper mouse because nowadays there are other brands that can make a quality mouse. I knew Razer was a popular brand so I got a Razer Deathadder v2. It was God-awful, the absolute worst and I couldn't use it for longer than a minute without it causing pain to my hand/wrist. The way the top was slanted, I don't know it just was super uncomfortable. On top of that, there's a scrolling switch on the bottom of the mouse (who's idea was this?) that adjusts the scroll speed of the scroll wheel. I swear to God, I would have to constantly reset the speed back because moving it around the mousepad would change it. Good riddance.

Then comes this mouse. I wanted a regular RGB mouse with a couple side buttons and a good scroll wheel. The quality is incredible. It feels like an expsensive mouse. Its not as customizable as the G903 but the build quality is about the same. The price is a hell of a deal considering the quality behind it. I was tired of bloatware for the RGB stuff so the fact that this one doesn't have any software and relies on using the scroll wheel speed adjusters (like what the G903 has), the top one cycles through DPI (white being the fastest) and the bottom one cycles through some RGB presets. I really love this mouse.

If you're in the market for a great gaming mouse, look no further. For someone as picky as me about this stuff, I'm relieved to have a mouse that I can rely on. And if it dies after 2 years, for this price, I won't hesitate to buy this again.

3.0 out of 5 starsFairly good mouse in most situations.....
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 21, 2022
Fairly good mouse. It works OK on Windows. I switched to linux and it seems to not have the same click response in Linux as it does in Windows. The cord is really stiff which is good and bad.. It's good because it means its a hogher quality wire inside...probably solid core instead of a braided wire. The problem with that is that it's harder to use the mouse because of the thick cord. I am concerned that the cord will wear out quickly because ot only flexes where it connects to the mouse...which means it'll probably snap there fairly quickly. I wish the cord was more flexable, but I do like the fabric wrapping on it. For non-game computer use, it seems to work equally well on windows and linux. It feels really nice in my hand. Great ergonomics. Its hard for me to find mice that feel good in my hand, and this does feel really nice. It's not as nice as my old e-Blue mouse, but its the closest I've found in years as far as how it feels in my hand. I also like that it changes colors when I change DPI, though my fave colors are not the ideal DPI for many things I do. Overall, it's a nice mouse.

Great mouse quality feel. Cable is long and sturdy. I disliked mouse size, I had a similar one previously but this one lets my wrist hang more. If you have a wrist pad it should reduce this issue. For context, I’m short and my hands are small.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the money. Good for routine work (not a gamer), but deduct one star
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 9, 2021

I didn't download driver (if there is one).... using W10 generic driver.

The mouse is larger than most and works well. It has variable "RGB" feature which can be disabled. Has variable DPI select. Scroll wheel has rubber grip on the wheel and has tactile click. All of those are OK.

The braided cord is light, so it doesn't make noise if it moves on the desk.

The left/right click buttons are louder than any of my other mice. The rubber grips on the side are good and comfortable, but I deduct one star because of the loud clicking and the grip doesn't extend all the way to the front of the mouse such that my ring finger is resting on "smooth plastic" while my thumb is on the grip. Those with shorter fingers or smaller hands may not experience the same. The rubber side grips extend all the way to the back where no part of the hand is likely to touch it. Why not extend the grips all the way to the front also? What were the designers thinking?? (Considered returning because of those annoyances, but haven't so far because I like the rest about it.)

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfectly comfortable mouse but my mistake was assuming it would be ok for a lefty
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 9, 2021

The mouse itself is just fine as far as mice go. Comfortable, customizable colors, easy to click, no hand fatigue. But I didn't look close enough when I bought it and assumed it was ambidextrous which is purely my fault. If you are a lefty trying to use this mouse, the tiny side buttons will drive you nuts! They will back click web pages you are on all the time as they are fairly sensitive. I tried looking up drivers to see if I could install them and potentially disable the side buttons but I came up empty. So now I've ordered the logitech ambidextrous mouse I probably should have at the beginning. Again, this mouse is just fine. It was my mistake in not examining it close enough to see those side buttons on the left edge (that are slowly driving me nuts).

5.0 out of 5 stars Actually really good objectively, and not just for the price.
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 19, 2021

I've had much more expensive mice than this one and several of the same price be absolute wrecks. I've had this mouse for several months and I have to say I'm very impressed. Despite all sorts of chip eating and beer drinking at the computer the finish on this fine non slip mouse is just as good as when I bought it. Zero drifting of the pointer - my previous cheapo mouse would have the pointer undergo a seizure even if I wasn't touching anything. Keeps your hands cool and non sticky and has surprisingly high build quality - The clicks, movement and scrolling were all buttery smooth yet precise. Great value and has all the necessary buttons. More expensive mice might give you variable weight and a slightly better experience - but we're talking 50 - 100 dollar mice. Can't be beat for under 20 bucks USD, which is what the price is currently. For Right handed people only so lefties should look for a different mouse.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor Driver Availability, Squeaky Parts, & !NO WRITTEN WARRANTY!
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 4, 2021
Color: RGB ColorVerified Purchase
A 'configurable' mouse isn't very valuable if you can't get the utility to configure it . . . you CAN get the utility, but only by contacting the manufacturer and then signing up for a 3rd-party file hosting service in mainland China which requires your cell number for "identity verification". Its virtually impossible to close that account afterwards if you A> don't read Chinese ideograms and B> aren't able to make international phone calls (both are required to close the account).

The configuration utility is virtually identical (including visual UI elements and limitation on the number of profiles) to the utility provided with my prior mouse, despite being from a different manufacturer (?reseller?). The biggest difference is being unable to assign shifted (SHIFT, ALT, and/or CTRL combos) keys without creating a macro and assigning that to a given button.

Aside from that, the only problem I've had so far is that the mouse wheel intermittently squeaks during use. A real distraction when playing an action-based game where audio queues are important to in-game survival.

There was no written warranty in the box, and at the time of this writing, the store page doesn't list any warranty either, so it looks like we (purchasers) are going to be left out in the cold if it dies after the Amazon return window closes.

The mouse is of average size. A person with large hands is forced to use a claw grip rather than palming it, but I have yet to come across a mouse designed for people with large hands.

Deduct 1 Star each for difficulty in obtaining configuration utility, squeaking like it's rodent namesake, and LACK OF WARRANTY.

2.0 out of 5 stars Chunky but not funky
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 21, 2022

An overall good quality mouse, but the side buttons are far too chunky and force bad hand positioning. Several of the buttons are in positions that make them easy to hit on accident, especially the DPI switch. I unintentionally hit it 4 times during an hour and a half of testing. Returning soon to hopefully pick up an ergonomical, vertical mouse.
