I am not a baker, so when I find out about tools that will make baking easier, I buy them! This set of 2 silicone baking mats is exactly what I need! Each measures 11.6x16.5 inches, so they will cover a standard half sheet pan or cookie sheet very well. I used mine for baking hasselback potatoes, which are basted with butter, olive oil, garlic and then sprinkled with fresh grated Parmesan. The baking sheet did indeed produce an even bake and prevented the potatoes from sticking to the sheet pan. After use, they’re so easy to clean! I just dipped them in warm soapy water and wiped them clean — no stubborn hardened cheese particles or oily residue. They drip dry and store flat in a drawer. I like them very much! I also bought a 2nd set and gifted my son & his wife with them. They like the flexible silicone reinforced inside with a fiberglass grid, as well as the rusty red border. They bake a lot and reported that their cookies, biscuits, and roasted veggies baked evenly with tasty browned edges.
