This flat iron is incredible. It is hands-down the best one I’ve ever owned. I have very fine bleach blonde hair and I like to alternate between straightening it and curling it with a flat iron. I have tried so many different flat irons and cannot find one that doesn’t snag my hair. Even my stylist’s expensive Dyson flat iron snags my hair. After reading reviews for literally 100 different flat irons, I saw this Amazon Basics one for 15 bucks and thought I’d give it a shot since it had good reviews. I knew I could return it easily if I didn’t like it. It arrived in less than 24 hours and I used it immediately and fell in love. It glides through my hair so effortlessly and gives amazing curl, even to my chin length asymmetrical bob. It has three different presets for fine, medium, and coarse hair. I used the fine preset, which is 280°, and it was perfect. It doesn’t get too hot to the touch near the plates either. I can’t say enough good things about this flat iron and I’m so glad I took a chance on it!
