Be sure to remove the plastic film from both sides. At first I thought the polarizing filter was blurry because of being really low quality. Then I realized there is a plastic film on both sides (quite subtle). When the film is removed, the filter is crystal clear and works great.

Cannot get it flat

It came rolled up, and it won't lay flat, I've rolled it the opposite way for a couple days and it curled right back to its original form, tried a heat press, still no dice. Frustrating.

Fabulous for glare free oil painting photography

I use these to photograph my oil paintings without glare. They work flawlessly for that purpose. There is a film on BOTH sides, once they are removed the sheets work well. This was the absolute best price around for these sheets and I'm very happy with their performance, I've now got glare free photos. I cut mine to fit into my led studio lights and in conjunction with my DSLR lens filter I can easily change the level of glare.

I needed some reasonable linear polarizers to measure glare from LED headlamps. These work perfectly. I can use them with an SLR and light meter. I have to make a frame but that is simple. The 90 degree blockage is great for this price point. Remember to remove plastic covers.

Peel the film off!

First impression? Wtf is wrong with these, they're not polarizing filters! Well, no they're not when they're covered in a protective film, lol! As the instructions BOLDLY state, remove the film. When I did, it was a glorious sheet of polarization! I bought it to darken an LCD projector that doesn't have brightness adjustments, and while my personal solution is janky as heck, it works great! Now I can sleep with my projector on!

This arrived in good condition, despite being shipped in only a bubble envelope. Has good extinction. BUT, and this is a big BUT, it curls up like a spring, forming a cylinder about 3 inches in diameter. Could not flatten it by weighting it down flat for a long period or by weighting it with heat for a long period. If you want this flat you will need to stick it to a rigid support.

- Damaged during shipping:
Either the seller or Amazon did not package the sheets properly. The sheets were shipped in a bubble envelope with no carboard inserts to keep it protected. During shipment one of the 2 packages was stressed, so that all 3 sheets inside were pockmarked in two places. I was still able to use the sheets, but I was limited in how I could use them.
- In the description it says that the material is GLASS. The sheets are plastic film, which is what I really expected.
- At first I thought that the sheets were cloudy and didn't polarize, but I reread the description and realized I needed to peel off the protective film on each side. Then they worked well.
