received a bad board
Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2021
I've been building computers for 30 years. I've seen a lot of bad parts, including motherboards. The one I received is a bad motherboard. It powers on, but won't even POST. The error light shows bad RAM, but the RAM works fine. I put the DIMMs in another mobo, and they work perfectly fine. They are compatible with this board. So, after spending many hours installing the new board, troubleshooting, and then removing the board and restoring all the original mobo, and dealing with Amazon's backward customer service goose chase, I've wasted a lot of time ultimately thanks to Gigabyte's crappy QA. Think twice before buying this motherboard.
