Best designed LM-FX, high quality

Recently I purchased LM-FX converters, and I have good experience with all of them. Different makers did a good job, all of them are working pretty good. But TTArtisan is a step ahead of all of them! It is because of the conical design. It is made out of a high quality aluminum, the size is perfect, my LM lenses are mounting just perfect. On top of that it looks really great! Like it is an integral part of the lens, you would not think it is "just" an addition. Once I did put my hands on it, I decided to purchase a second one. If you want to save a few bucks, the other, cheaper converters are also working fine, but this one is highly recommended, despite the price.
The only criticism I can think of is the gold plated release button... I guess it is not a deal breaker...

No more light leak - Love it!

I've been using various Leica M to L adapters with S1H and always had problems with light leak and had to apply some tape to make it work. It was ok, but would fall off every now and then and leave sticky residue.
That's not the case anymore, these fit snug and there's no light leak, five stars!

Of all the adapters costing less than $100, I believe this adapter to be the best, for the following reasons.

1. The flange-to-flange distance is 11.81mm, which is extremely close to the spec (11.80mm as Nikon Z flange distance is 16.00mm and Leica M flange distance is 27.80mm). This means zooming to infinity on the lens actually zooms to infinity.
2. The tapered side is a great design. This allows easier focusing for lenses with focus rings close to the base of the lens. In my opinion, it also looks better.
3. No light leakage. 5s exposure at 1600 ISO shows zero light in a bright room.
4. Lens release button snaps into place with no play. There is zero play between the adapter and my Zeiss Planar 50mm f/2 lens. Absolutely zero.
5. Minimal play between adapter and camera body (Nikon Z5). The play is no worse than any of the native Nikon Z lenses I have, so this is a non-concern.

I don't remember the last time I purchased a product I had zero issues with, so props to TTArtisan for designing and manufacturing an excellent product.
