Once upon a time, I just liked sugar and cream in coffee, enough to make it taste like caramel, and to give me a kick. Then, I found out that there is an actual taste to coffee... who knew? I've gone from being happy with a drip brewer, to a morning rush keurig brew, to a french press, and finally to a decent espresso machine. The espresso machine is like a chem lab experiment with a happy ending. But, to get there, you need better equipment than what I had. This coffee scale ups the game. I can weigh my grind against the extraction and get the best possible flavor out of my grind. It's precise, easy to use, and small enough to keep in a drawer under my machines. I also use it to measure out my french press grind and my pour over. The grounds to water ratios are easy to keep and make for some of the best improvements to my coffee I've had in a while. Stop eyeballing your grind and get precision and consistency in your day!
