I wanted a waterproof shoe that didn't have too thick of tread so I could walk my dog and the bottoms wouldn't collect...stuff...and I have stepped in stuff with these shoes and what did stick came of rather quickly and easily! I have had these for a couple months now and they have retained their waterproofing with multiple daily walks over a third of a mile each in the rain for a month straight. I cannot ask for much better performance than that! I will say that they do feel a bit large when but there isn't any extra space around my foot so it is perplexing, but I would recommend these!
