4.0 out of 5 starsKeep the fill below halfway mark or you will be making little cups and not donuts.

I wanted to make some almond donuts with Lemon butter cream frosting for his 75th birthday, but did not have any donut pans. So, when I saw these, I decided to order them. Here is what I found:
1. Having two pans is nice for even placement for heat in the oven. Also makes it easy to put in and take out.
2. The Non-stick more or less works. I would recommend greasing them prior to use!! Mine stuck and I had to use a tooth pick to get them loose to drop out. I used a straight Cake flour recipe, so nothing exotic, but the batter still stuck.
3. There is no guidance for how full to make them. Keep it below the half way point or it will rise above the top of the pan and close the top. Once advantage of doing this, however, it you can create a donut cup when you remove the donut from the pan. I took advantage of the first ones that I had overfilled by filling the cup that was formed with raspberry filling after I had frosted the donuts. Turned out great!!!
4. Cooking time is as expected for a cupcake. Still , check as your oven may vary.
If it was not for the batter sticking to the pan, it would have been a 5 star item. Still, once I greased it, it worked great so still a good product.
