3.0 out of 5 starsCute, but Not Very Practical For All The Things a Teen Needs to Carry for School. Straps Rub.

This back pack is cute and I like the gray/pink color combination.
The shape is more rectangular than traditional backpacks. The opening flap closes with magnetic snaps on the backside of the obsolete buckles. Clearly the buckles are just for decoration, even though they actually can be unbuckled.
The inside of the bag has a reinforced bottom piece that needs to be pushed flat into the bottom of the bag. There are 2 pockets (1 is zippered) in the main compartment of the bag and another zippered pocket on the outer part of the bag, under the flap.
This bag seems like it would fit books and binders well, but not leave room for much else other than water bottles in the 2 side pockets.
The back and straps are padded, but the top of the straps are so close together that they rub on your neck/shoulders if you try to wear this like a normal backpack.
Overall this would be OK if you don't have a lot of stuff to carry and you prefer to carry your bag over 1 shoulder, instead of using both straps and putting on your back.
