Canon MX922 Not so sure about the attachments

I have a Canon MX922. The attachments are hard to work with especially when wet. The connections between the syringe and adapter are too tight and tend to pop off especially when wet. The bigger nozzle attachment isn't tight enough around the black inlet. The cleaning solution itself seems great. Overall I'm not very impressed by the purchase. I may try another brand.

Worked perfect for Brother printer

Have a Brother printer that does not get much use. Printer nozzles tend to get clogged so I am always have to use the clean function in the menu. After some time, even that did not work. Watched a few videos to see if I could manually clean the nozzles, and yes, you can. Ordered this kit for the Brothers machine, and all the tubes and connections fit perfectly. Watched the video and followed the instructions step by step, fairly easy. A little messy, so I did this outside on the deck. Ran solution through the printer head twice, just for good measure. Made a test slide in Power Point, using shapes and text filled with cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. Had to print about 40 times to re-saturate the ink in the machine. No lines, good color saturation, just like new. Defintely worth a try as it is less expensive than buying a new printer.

Did Not Work For Me

I bought my WF-2860 in December 2020 and it worked perfectly - no problems. Until November 2023! First, it wouldn't print Cyan (Blue). Then, it got progressively worse. Finally, down to printing Magenta only, I tried this printhead cleaning kit. I followed instructions, but no improvement. I only used genuine Epson ink cartridges too. I don't think the fault was with this printhead cleaning kit or the procedure they recommend. I believe that once you try to fool the printer into thinking you are installing new ink but then remove power without turning it off, the internal software no longer works properly. Because it no longer reports accurate ink levels even with new genuine ink cartridges. 4-Stars

Firstly, let me say that this whole process, cleaning your print heads, is a messy nightmare, and I hated messing with it.

But this product made it very easy to do and stay clean while doing it, and there is nothing more I could ask for.

EPSON Printer working again

I followed the instructions. Since just one color was not printing I just flushed it out. However after reassembling I found another was now not working. So I cleaned out the remaining 3 colors. I had a little trouble getting it going after that step but by selecting nozzle CLEANING option I was able to once again have perfect printing. The solution is in a bottle which you need to take the cap off to pull the solution into the syringe. Seems easy enough as long as you put the cap back on and don't knock it over. I say from that experience. I still have plenty of solution for a couple more cleanings though.

Have extra paper towels folded to place under printer head
