How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsBeautiful design, excellent key action, sturdy build
Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2022
I needed a replacement keyboard, my girlfriend's fat cat walked on mine and broke the legs (on the keyboard, not the cat). Found this keyboard, very good backlighting, an odd little dial that can be configured (I just use it for volume). Fantastic key response. Overall a great, small footprint, full 104 key, keyboard.

This keyboard worked great for three months. I got this keyboard in September and around February I started noticing the keyboard randomly disconnects. I'm now starting to get phantom clicks where some keys letters randomly appear as double clicks or constantly type the same letter until disconnect and reconnect the board

4.0 out of 5 stars really great keyboard! BUT iiiii
Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2022
Color: GreyVerified Purchase
I'll start with the PROS
it's a very comfortable keyboard!
good build and good price!
also, it's so nice to have a keyboard LED Backlit that is not designed for gamers.
overall, I am very happy with the keyboard.

CONS
I am good at learning new things, and it was hard to learn how to use the software to program the keyboard, you can't find online any tutorial on how to program this keyboard.
and I really don't understand why they don't do a video on how to program it.

also, the Programmable Dial is a very low-quality build, I wish it was smoother and heavier,
so when you turn it you get a better and more responsive feeling.

BUT AGAIN!
overall it's a unique keyboard and doing a great job

The media could not be loaded.
Let's talk about packaging. I've included some photos so you can refer it to that. One of the enclosures did not have a seal tape. The boxes are slightly damaged. Damaged. I don't know if it's from the storage warehouse or if it's during shipment. Since the shipping box wasn't a good condition. I can only suspect that the box was damaged already before it was shipped. Not a big deal but it does make the product fuel as if it's not new.

Moving on to the aesthetics part of the keyboard. There are clearly some scratches around the wireless connection buttons as well as the media buttons. The deluxe sticker around the media and wireless buttons are not attached accurately. Other than that, the keyboard looks good.

Moving on to the typing experience. Overall, keyboard typing is excellent and it feels like a regular linear keys. The space bar, however feels slightly different than the rest of the keys. I don't think the space bar has the red switch (or linear switch) on it.

I'm unsure why the company decided to put the volume control on the top left and shift the escape as well as the function keys slightly to the right. As a programmer, the escape key that has moved does affect performance because I constantly end up hitting the volume controller. Not a big deal for gaming and stuff, but something to be aware of if you are a programmer or uses the escape key as well as the first four function keys often.

The wireless connection is solid. Even after being idle for some time. Time it quickly connects back to the appropriate peripheral whether it's Bluetooth or wireless.

The Q key backlight turns on and off. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. I have a screenshot of the key not lit up. As of this review, writing the queue backlight does work.

One last thing to mention is that there is some sort of loose sand material inside of the keyboard. It can be heard as I rock the keyboard left and right.

The wireless storage section is also loose and you hear quite a bit of rocking when you move the keyboard. This and the sand noise mentioned above is not a big deal. If you have your keyboard stationary which I believe That's the case for most users.

The basic fundamental functionality of the keyboard, which is typing and connection, is overall good. However, the issues that I have mentioned does make it feel like I did not receive a brand new keyboard and is enough for me to decide on returning it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rattle Rattle Rattle Rattle
Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2022

I've ordered this keyboard twice now. The first copy had a busted "E" key. The second, which I'm using to type now, has the most rattly spacebar known to man. It's HORRIBLE. I can barely think while I type thanks to how loud this accursed thing is.

It took ages to find the software I needed to download to get the lights to stop blinking.

The keys are EXTREMELY sensitive. If you rest your fingers on the keyboard, this isn't the board for you.

Lord almighty, I can barely type this out as the spacebar rattles. The stabilizers are junk.

Going to throw this accursed thing back in the box and get a refund ASAP.

Schivey
5.0 out of 5 stars Clean and comfortable minimalist keyboard design
Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2022
Color: KS200Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
**DISCLAIMER** I am reviewing the KS200 keyboard by itself! The company software is confusing to find/download and was having trouble with my antivirus. I've only used this keyboard on windows and mobile devices.

I ordered this keyboard to serve as an office related work space keyboard. I'm a seasoned gamer and have shifted through major brand gaming keyboards which gives me the credibility to give you my opinion. I've broken the review up below so it's easier to read.

First impression
- The keyboard is visually appealing if you like the glossy silver/grey base. It's definitely a minimalist design and looks great on my desk. The buttons on the top of the keyboard do look a little tacky but really don't bother me.

Comfort/Usability
- Shifting away from the gaming keyboard scene, I'm used to attached wrist rests. Not having it makes me feel like I should buy an independent rest for this keyboard. However, if you don't use some sort of rest, ignore what I've said. As far as typing comfort, I'm satisfied with this keyboard. Granted it is in the lower end price range compared to some of the keyboards I've used. I feel that the finish on the keys does take some getting use to but by no means affect performance.

Battery
- The battery is FANTASTIC. I'm not big for wireless keyboards/mice as I find it inconvenient to have to rely on the battery to use it. Figured I'd give it a go and fell in love. Removing the cable allows for a cleaner desk finish. I've been using this keyboard at my office computer for about 2 weeks now and have yet to charge it. I'm able to leave it on 24/7 as it goes to sleep after a period of no use. It's super convenient to be able to just sit down and start typing as if it were wired. It does also include a usb charger if you so do choose to use it.

Connection
- I personally prefer to use the usb fob connector. There is a couple reasons for this; the battery lasts longer not having to rely on bluetooth, connection is instant as if it were a wired keyboard, and I can just leave the keyboard on 24/7. However, the bluetooth option is there if you want it or don't have the usb room. It also pairs well to mobile devices like my ipad. Just don't expect the battery to last as long.

All in all this is a solid minimalist, clean designed keyboard that fits well on my desk. I plan to continue using it and have yet to run into any significant issues. All functionality of the keyboard works. The ONLY 'issue' with this keyboard is the volume control knob. You have to wake the keyboard in order to use it, as in the knob won't wake the keyboard on its own. Really not a huge issue.

2.0 out of 5 stars Humming Noise / Not MacOS compatible
Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2022
Color: KS200Verified Purchase
Quality of this keyboard could definitely be better, but the real kicker is that there is a humming noise as the backlight strobes and the nonexistent software. Drivers for this keyboard do not support MacOS so if you're looking for something programable, this is not the keyboard for you.

Didn't realize until after ordering the the 5 star reviews are all coming from people being paid for reviews, which should have tipped me off that this was a bad product in the first place.

Space bar mold is horrendous and warped + no tension at all
Rattles like crazy too..

The build is heavy and volume knob is grate.
I did not expect LED to be great, so I am happy with that.

Overall, space bar kills this keyboard..
Also, what is with Amazon sending opened box keyboards with missing parts..
Second keyboard sent with open box and missing parts
