Our desktop computer started having an issue with its ethernet cable. I couldn't seem to fix that, and instead wanted to solve that problem by making it so the computer could use the WiFi instead of the Ethernet cable. This was a cheap easy solution. Just plugged it right in and it worked like a charm. Speed is good. Performance is good.

Works well in Win 11, and Raspberry PI OS, but nothing for Linux, I have Mint Linux, and I wa expecting the OS to recocnise the PnP device as it did with everything else on this PC, and this worked fine in Win10 in the same PC without me having to do anything, but nothing in Linux. All of the linux forums say to stay away from this device. So I will have to get something else and use this somewhere else.

I have a four year old HP laptop running Win 11, that suddenly began losing WiFi connection, a common occurrence with older laptops. This adapter arrived the next day, in a small box with a CD with drivers, installed instantly and works flawlessly. So much for the headline.
The ideal solution would be replacing the internal OEM Intel WiFi adapter with an upgraded device. This would have been a tedious task and I am getting lazy. And although I do not enjoy losing a precious USB port, I consider this to be acceptable when I get an instant an inexpensive repair.
The included CD was not necessary for Win 11. The adapter was instantly recognized and Device Manager reported the installed drivers to be up-to-date (both WiFi and Bluetooth). I did not need to uninstall my old adapter or anything else, just plug this in and resume my work.
I decided to go with this TP-Link Nano USB WiFi Adapter over the WiFi 6 version (TP-Link Nano USB WiFi 6 Adapter) because of its smaller footprint, lower cost, and the older router I connect to. I consider this to be a temporary solution that I may reconsider later when I upgrade my SSD to 4TB. I expect to keep this laptop for several more years with several performance upgrades.
I highly recommend this adapter for those of us with older but serviceable and fully capable PCs, laptops and desktops with WiFi connection problems. This will work for almost all of you.

My ISP has some sort of weird WiFi router that drops connections from some factory Lenovo laptops. Other WiFis work fine. So I plugged these in and problem solved. Cheap, easy, reliable.

Have an Asus Laptop...not the greatest but it is all I can afford. The wifi starred randomly disconnecting. I would have to put it to sleep to reconnect. It started happening more and more until finally I have to restart it to get it to reconnect. I just kept happening more and I believe it would have eventually given out. Obviously the wifi was failing.

Bought this for sale for 17.99 and just plugged it in and BLAM. It worked. It came with a CD Rom and booklet but I didn't need either one which is good because my laptop doesn't have a disc drive. Drivers installed on their own. Be sure to disable your original wifi in your computer so the system doesn't default to that.

Speeds are better than before which makes sense given mine was failing. I pay for a 100mbps connection and get 120 through here so I am very satisfied. I cant speak to range however since I am in a apartment so I am either in the same room as the router or in the bedroom but I get the same signal.

I have an old Surface Pro that it fell out of time with MS Servers. I was trying to connect it to my network for internet, but it wouldn't have none. Found out my issue was that because I upgraded my network to a Mesh Wi-Fi with 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, and 6Ghz, the internal Wi-Fi card couldn't communicate with it. So, I bought this little adapter, and it sync'd up like a charm. It works perfectly and even faster than the old internal one. Now though, I need to always have it in when I am using it otherwise no internet. But this little guy saved the day so I can keep using this dinosaur of a Surface until I am ready to buy a new one lol.

I have an older laptop which I use for training inside on my bike. I use an application that streams a video of routes filmed throughout the world, so it makes "riding indoors", a.k.a., stationary, much more interesting. I had the laptop hardwired to the internet, but that created a tripping hazard because of where the wall connection versus the laptop were located. The internal WiFi of the laptop created lags in the video. My WiFi network was broadcasting at a higher speed, but the laptop could not connect to it because of its age. This dongle fixed that issue. Now the video keeps pace with my pedaling.

Good value for the price. And I always felt good about buying TP-Link products.

I purchased this "nano" WiFi transceiver 9/2023 to use with my mobile project PC's, repair work and other USB enabled devices. The 5GHz signal strength was surprisingly good at the distances used. Where certain others couldn't transmit or receive with adequate speed consistently, this one does.

Conclusion: I generally like TP-Link products and have had very few issues with them. This USB WiFi adapter is tiny and easy to lose, if you're not vigilant. The performance is equivalent to a LOT of USB adapters that have large and eyesore antennae, which this one does not require. After testing/using for 9 months, I am very happy with this unit and would buy again in a hot minute.

I had purchased a competitor's USB WIFI from Amazon. Every day when I turned on my computer, I had to go thru the setup AGAIN to get WIFI. I called their support line and got a message that no one was available to speak with me and that someone would return my call in 24 hours.
