It's doing everything that was promised thus far. I like the shorter length of the cable as I connect my external drive to a macbook pro. There seems to be no lag , and the connections are all snug. I can't speak to durability, though it seems like as long as I keep it safe, it should work. I am a big fan of the braided cable, I get them whenever I can.
Personally I would like to be able to find one made by the manufacturer, that is lightning compatible, but lightning can work with uSB-C, so I'll take it.
