very slimy design, rapid heating, 4 heat levels, 2-10hrs for timer, wide plate that fit for candle, tea pot... I got with half price since it's overstock. Love it

Keeps my coffee warmer, but the top is slick and no border to hold cup on

The top of the unit is a slick piece that has no border to stop a cup from sliding off.
Almost the entire top is heated. This makes it such that you can easily touch the heated surface with your hand when either picking up or esp. putting a cup down.
I think this was designed more for a stationary object like a wax warmer.
The auto shutoff works well, though is only in 2 hour increments from 2 to 12 hours.
The table underneath the unit does get quite warm, but not hot. Probably don't want to have flammable items under it (e.g. paper).

I am a busy stay at home mom to three young children so my coffee is rarely hot, and I would usually end up drinking it at room temperature when I finally had a moment or heating it up in the microwave!
