Im not sure about this cause I bought it online for my daughter who is in hudson and I didn't even saw this closk in real.

It asks for time zones and DST setting, it uses the normal "atomic time" signal broadcast over the radiowaves.

The clock does not set its time from a radio signal. You have to set manually. it only remembers the time after a power failure if u havebattery. DSomewhat misleading information
