What is it with Seattle restaurants attempts to overcharge customers?
I've been to the Chapel three times. Twice for happy hour, once during normal hours.
During the happy hours, the servers consistently tried to charge regular hour prices for food and beverages purchased during happy hour. On both occasions, when discussing the overcharges, were either rude or incompetent, claiming that there was no way to change the bill and that there were no managers around.
They also disappear from sight about 30 minutes before the end of happy hour.
The one occasion I went outside of happy hour, we were again overcharged for some drinks that we did not order.
I can't imagine ever going back to the Chapel. I'd rather give my business to a bar that treats customers with at least a modicum of respect.
