I absolutely loved this book! I loved that even though Hero was supposed to be "Lady Perfect", she in no way was perfect. In fact, hardly any main character in this story was perfect which made them all more human and less like cookie cutter characters we read in every romantic historical. I mean, let's face it, Griffin was a rude SOB, but man was he passionate about his woman (as any alpha male should be). And Hero was at times self-righteous and at other times merely a slave to her attraction for Griffin, which would usually seem very contradictory but it worked for me somehow. I think she had to have that wicked side in order for it to be believable that she would fall for someone like Griffin. But, I loved this opposites attract love story and could hardly put it down once I reached the middle. I can't wait for Silence's story and also wonder who else will get a chance at love in this series.
