Best we've found so far,
This review is from: Automatic Cat Feeder CSF-3 Super Feeder with Digital Timer, Chute Cover, Stand and Bowl--Up to 8 Daily Meals--Optional in-between Main Meal Snack Portions Possible 4 3/4 Cups Capacity Optionally Expandable (Misc.)
One of my cats is ridiculously smart (we call him the professor) and is incredibly food motivated. He is way too smart for most of the automatic feeders out there. He studies things and can quickly find the weakness. He can open cabinets, tupperware and even hinged lid containers. He has done well with this feeder, but during our last vacation he was able to break off the plastic chute cover, reach his little paw in and turn the dial effectively dispensing food whenever he felt like it. Little bugger! So we have now mounted the feeder higher up and have attached a small metal "cage" around the opening so the food can come out, but he can't reach inside. For most cats of average intelligence/food obsession this will work just fine.

The CIA is looking to hire cats like yours. Does he speak any foreign languages? How does he look with a fake mustache and beard?

I think he would look awesome with a mustache & beard! And I'm sure he understands foreign languages but haven't heard him speak any yet!

Can you send a photo of the metal cage so that I can make one? Or a really good description? My cat is small but very clever and will eat until she bursts. Will this dispense as little as 1/4 cup at the most of kibble? I usually use Purina Cat Chow for Indoors.
