I don't get it -- why would someone by 6 of thee filters for 19.49 when they can buy 1 package of 2 for 2.49? Do the math -- 2.49 * 3 = 7.47, which is way less than 19.49

I would like to know a bit more about your calculations. Are you including the cost of shipping? The cheapest currently on Amazon are 2 for $3.08 but then add $7.90 to that for shipping, equaling $10.98. With a Prime Membership the cost of shipping is already included in the selling price. The price for 6 filters at B,B&B is $24.99 (plus tax) and I have to get off my dead butt and go get them.

When I made the comment it was 2/2.49 with shipping of 4.95, whereas the 6 pack was 19.49 with shipping of 4.95 (probably).
Now it's 2/2.69 with 4.95 shipping and the 6 pack is 34.95 without shipping.
Still a worse ripoff.
And if shipping is in the price with prime membership, then its 2.69*3 with no shipping vs. 34.95. I'm only comparing Amazon to Amazon, not BB&B

Thanks for the heads up. One can buy 6 - 2 packs (2 year supply) for the price of this "Triple Pack"/one year supply right here on Amazon. Just do a little searching within Amazon.
