Easy Read, Draws You in. Great "Chick Flick".,
This review is from: The Ivy (Paperback)
To many people, this book probably seems like a silly book for teenage girls. Which, it is in some ways. However, something about it just draws you in. It takes drama, new friendships, and a kind of "little fish, big world", growing up type thing and puts them together seamlessly in a way that makes it impossible to put down. If you liked books such as Pretty Little Liars, The Clique, the Lauren Conrad books, Before I Fall, or anything along those lines, then you should check out this book. Callie Andrews, the main character, immediately just makes you want to know her and be friends with her. She is so relatable to so many girls. If you can't relate to her, then you can surely relate to one of the characters in this book, as every single one is completely different, coming from different backgrounds and situations. It takes you along the ups and downs of college, but still makes it seem like an appealing place. If you are looking for a chick flick with a little more substance, then Lauren Kunze's The Ivy is the book for you.
