Check your tablet model BEFORE purchase to make sure you are getting the right one. If you need to figure out if your tablet can even accept a pen, or if you do not know which pen to purchase as a replacement, CONTACT WACOM. They will happily answer your questions.
It also helps to purchase from a reputable seller. Good customer service is worth a few extra dollars. (And it's DEFINITELY worth saving a few dollars, as was my case.)
As far as the actual product? I couldn't be happier. Buying a new pen is a lot less expensive than buying a new tablet.
