This review is from: Foscam FI8919W Outdoor Wireless Pan/Tilt IP Camera with IR-Cut Off Filter for TRUE COLOR Images (Not Washed Out), Auto-Iris (Auto-Brightness Adjustment), IP66 Waterproof Enclosure, Synology & Blue Iris Compatible, Pan 355° Tilt 80°, White (Electronics)
The images from the camera are great, even in darkness due to the IR filter. Set-up is not too bad if you have setup other cameras before. The Active X required for the camera is unsigned, so you need to disable some of your desktop security to install it. Documentation could be improved! I am using the wireless feature to connect to this camera.
I have had this camera now for about a month. What I have found is that the camera randomly moves to its home position. This could happen in a few hours or a few days, but it will happen. I have not found a way to define a new home position on this camera, as can be done with many models of Panasonic PTZ cameras. The other issue this camera has is that it will stop sending video. This has happened twice now. When this happens, you need to log into the camera to restart it or you must unplug it. I have mine hooked up to a timer now.
I use IP Cam Viewer on my smartphone to manage my cameras. What I have found is that you can control most of the PTZ functions of this camera if you define it as a Foscam FI8904W.
I haven't been able to find another wireless PTZ camera with IR in this price range. For now I will live with a timer and hope that a firmware upgrade will address the issues I have.

Mine is crashing intermittently too and going back to its home position. I would like to see a firmware update that addresses this issue.
Also I would prefer it to go to a defined preset position when it reboots or powers up instead of its own home position which is looking down and to the side.
