Pretty good for the money,

While I agree the manual is horrible! I had to guess on how to set the Timezone. There is a config text file that is created on the memory card when you format it. Then put it in your computer and run the JPlayer app which will create a file called Default_Folder. If you go into that file and add a line [TimeZone]=-4 (for Eastern Daylight Time) your offset may vary, that will set the timezone to Eastern Daylight Time.
The video can only be viewed using the app that comes with the device and shows the x,y,z sensors. You can export the video to an .avi file but the sensor graph does not export the x,y,z sensors or the speed. Those are two big flaws.

The only memory it has is the memory card you put in. so simply pull the card out, so you can leave the camra in the car, and put the card into your computer.

Can you give more of an example of where and how the line should look for the timezone
I entered it but it still shows my zone as being +252 :-O
Thank you so much

3 does any one have problems with the charging?

the time zone set by it self and so did the Google GPS, it took a while. we are having Problems in charging and keeping it charged. finding the place to replace the batteries and the night vision. The Manuel is horrible, so is the spelling and the sentencing.

Every comment is welcome. The manual is so bad I haven't gotten the camera to work yet (record).
I can't even figure out the real name of the company so I could do a Google search for instructions.

You don't download. You unplug the SD Memory card from the unit and plug it into your computer. Your computer will recognize the SD Memory card as an external drive. You then copy/paste or cut/paste the video files onto your computer hard drive for viewing.

I just got this and am trying to set it up. Thank you, Kevin for your helpful instructions. I am slowly figuring out things, but I did manage to locate my house on Googlemaps, though GPS has not kicked in yet. For the commenters having trouble keeping it charged while trying to set it up, try a 12-volt converter Universal AC to DC Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Adapter that plugs into your wall outlet. I just happened to find another accessory cord that fits the 12v charger hole and am running it off that,(hoping I don't damage it). Thank you all for your comments, they are helping, slowly but surely.
