Customer Review

on March 30, 2015
Sandra Hutchison has written a beautifully crafted book about loss and grief, marriage and family, sex and evil and the resiliency of the human spirit. She touches on the core issues of feminism without ever losing her compassion for individual characters. The story is compelling from beginning to end, and despite my early fears, Hutchison's deft touch never allowed it to become trite. I finished the book feeling satisfied, yet still imagining how the lives of the people in the book continued to unfold.
