1.0 out of 5 stars Can't bring myself to finish, April 9, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Fifty Shades Darker (Fifty Shades, Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
Even though I had the same complaints about book one as everyone else (repetitive words & actions)I still managed to finish and actually enjoyed the chemistry between Ana and Christian. I can't say the same for book two. I'm halfway through and if Ana "blushes/flushes", says "oh my" or speak to her inner goddess one more time I'm going to scream!! I honestly expected more depth from book two but I still know very little about each character. Worst of all they are still having boring repetitive sex every couple of pages. I've stopped reading at this point and will not be getting book three because frankly I don't care what happens to either character. Oh and I've now taken a strong dislike to the words "unbidden", "undoing" and "convulse"

I hate to ask you this but... you weren't annoyed by all the "blushing", "oh my's", and stupid interaction with her "inner goddess" by the *middle* of the first book? I was. I haven't even read Fifty Shades Darker... and I don't intend to.
