This review is from: The Long Stitch Good Night: An Embroidery Mystery (Mass Market Paperback)
I read this book in a mere three hours (and it was 329 pages) so you can tell there wasn't much plot. The plot seemed to drag and I was getting rather tired of Marcy's "man problems" to really enjoy the book. I also had figured out about two thirds of the way through who Drew's father was - though the killer was a surprise. For all Marcy's smarts she could have figured out the father earlier than she did. She was right in saying she should have left Graham's murder up to the authorities. There does come a point when one needs to stop interfering and let the police do their job. If there is another book in the series, I think Marcy's wishy-washy up and down feelings for Todd and Ted need to be resolved. I believe she's better off with Ted.
