Great Sequel From a new developer,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time - Playstation 3 (Video Game)
Sly Cooper and the gang finally make it to the PS3 in a new game by Sanzaru Games a new developer for the series. The game takes place where the third game of the trilogy ends. Bendley builds a time machine with Penelope (from the last game) and suddenly she disappears. Bendley also sees that The Thievius Raccoonus (The family book about thieving moves and family history) pages started to disappear. Given these troubling events Bendley gets the team back to together to go on another adventure to solve these mysteries.
-Cross Buy, when you buy this game you can download the vita verse for free.
-Cross saves, as long as you have an internet source (for the vita) you can stop and save on your PS3 game and take it on the go; and vice versa.
-Great for all ages, the game is easy enough for a young player to follow and it has some puns for older players to follow and laugh at.
-Controls are very similar to the last games and are easy to learn for new comers.
-Vita AR function. After you can get this working (it takes a few steps, see the virtual manual to enable it), you can use your vita to help you find missing items hidden in the worlds that are too difficult to find.
-There are only 6 worlds in this game with 1 not being open. This makes the game feel short.
-The load times between entering new zones can be long.
-One of the Bentley's hacks and some other mini games use the motion controls of the control or vita; which can be a little annoying to try to master in a given amount of time.
This is a great plat-former, series, and cross play game to see how great it can be on the PS3 and the vita.
