Authors Jawer and Marcozzi make a fresh, well-reasoned case for how one's "emotional type" (as defined by thick or thin boundaries) can influence not only what kinds of ailments one is susceptible to, but also what therapies are likely to work best. I had already tried some of the highlighted therapies, but not in a directed way to address my particular ailments. This book has helped fit together some pieces of a puzzle so that I can now better target my time and money on approaches that are more likely to be effective for me. I am also now much more aware of how my emotional state manifests itself in physical conditions. I have gotten a copy of this book to give to a friend who is a massage therapist and who does a lot of energy balancing work; she is sure to find it useful not only as a reference for herself but as guidance to her clients. Bravo!
